Minna!! Our Aiba chan's stage play report is on today's Nishi Nippon Entertainment website yo!! Well, this is mostly about Aiba chan playing the lead of Wasurerarenai Hito called Adam, and that Adam is a very silent/brooding guy. It also touched on Adam's heart problem. The article itself said that Adam is an orphan, and that his power is deep inside him despite being a very silent guy who seemed passive.

Interesting part is the last part, when Taichi said that TOKIO is a band/singers and asked Aiba chan (I think this should be in Shounen Club Premium) [What is Arashi?], Aiba chan could only managed to reply [Perhaps Idol?].... The reporter mentioned that despite this simple reply, Arashi is indeed known as a group that does BAKA things and a group with the power to HEAL. This eliminates any wall between the group and others.

相葉雅紀　主人公の背景伝えたい　舞台「忘れられない人」　無口なアダム役

人気グループ「嵐」の相葉雅紀は、いつものはじけているイメージと違い、落ち着いたトーンで話し始めた。１０月下旬からの舞台「忘れられない人」で演じるのは無口な主人公アダム役。「けいこ前だからかな。浮つかないように（感情を）落としているんです」

　児童養護施設で育ち、心臓病を患うアダム。勤務先の食堂で同僚のキャロライン（加藤夏希）にひかれて心を開き、言葉を交わしていく姿を描いた米映画を舞台化した。

　「ばい菌に感染するからと、人との接触もあまりなく、元気な子どもから（養子として）もらわれていくのを見て寂しく思っただろうし…」。台本には書かれていない主人公像を思い浮かべる。

　「こんな過去があったから今がある、というバックグラウンドを伝えられたら」と、アダムが内に秘めたパワーや感情を探る日々。食堂の場面では、演出家に「体の角度によって、孤独感を見せられなくなってしまう」と指摘され、舞台ならではの難しさを実感した。

　中学２年でジャニーズ事務所に。ジャニーズＪｒ．時代を経て８年前、ユニット「嵐」としてＣＤデビューした。「結果がすべてという厳しさを知った。出演番組を１本獲得する苦労も、それまで知らなかったから」

　ＴＯＫＩＯの国分太一に「僕らは歌手だけど、嵐は何？」と尋ねられたが「アイドルかな」としか答えられなかった。ただ、確かなのは、いつもバカな面を見せて、人々に壁を感じさせないのが、嵐だということだ。

　「これからも、みんなに近い存在でありたいと思う。自分たちが何者なのかは、辞めるときに分かるのかもしれない」

It has been 2 days since the opening of Wasurerarenai Hito. First of all, there was the fact that Arashi member Ninomiya Kazunari came to watch the play on the 1st day. After the play, not sure if he talked to Aiba chan ne?

OK this is my 2nd report on the pre-opening rehearsal (for the sake of those who have yet to watch this, I shall not touch on the content of stage play ne).

After the pre-opening rehearsal, I was first of all shocked to see the appearance of Aiba san with this thick MOOD of main lead Adam. Once I tried to get in to see him during some brief interval moments, I was surprised at his sudden change of expression. There was the lack of smiles like how I saw him at the press conference photo-taking session the other day. I could not have imagine that he is the same person who said [hai yo] to camera-man's requests during the Talk Show that day (ha ha). [This person is still Adam!] I thought to myself. Then the first thing Aiba san said was [I just finished my rehearsal and still some part have not return to normal]. I see, he still has yet to go back to himself ne. Hmm, Aiba san with this kind of look is also very gorgeous. But Aiba san, you didn't seem to realize that you were responding to reporters still with the character of Adam and throwing away yourself at that moment ha ha.

This Aiba san I saw was like Adam with few words and replied in a slow manner to reporters' questions. After the press conference, his spirit then came back to being himself ha ha. That's also evident when Kato san and Iwasa san was talking to themselves beside him, he suddenly said [SHHH! I am talking now!] and [If you go on, the press conference will not end yo!] etc. He tried to fight back weakly ha ha.

When I said Aiba san retaliated weakly, it also meant that both ladies were really strong together side by side and you see Aiba san trying hard to stand up to them ha ha. When you see the 3 young people smiling so, you can already imagine the good chemistry between them in their rest places during the rehearsals and feel very comfortable with the cast's teamwork.

After the rehearsals, director Miyata-san also said specifically that the role Aiba san plays this time is very difficult. This is because with very few words, he has to ensure his role's strong stage presence. You will be able to see how well Aiba san does this during the play. You will also feel the passion Aiba san has for this role based on him acting with all his spirit and soul. Aiba san expresses words with very few words, supported by the excellent cast of veteran actors, and Kato san and Iwata san also played their roles very seriously. Frankly, the passion is conveyed to me in something more than just the acting, and I feel this very painfully. This was because of the passion shown by the actors towards their roles. To those who are going to watch the play from now, please bring along a THICK handkerchief ha ha.

I feel that Aiba san, Kato san and Iwata san, the 3 young actors will increase the charima of their versatality with this paly. Miyata director had also said that flowers will bloom in this play. This is so true! Large flowers will bloom in this stage play!

Just a point to note, the pamphlet sold outside the stage hall, there is some "trick" there! What kind of trick? You will know when you buy it. (it took me 2 days to realize that there is actually something inside)

幕開けから2日が経過した『忘れられない人』、まず初日には嵐メンバーの二宮和也さんがいらしてたそうです。
公演終了後、相葉さんとはどんな会話をかわされたのでしょうかね？

さて、本日はゲネプロレポート第2弾！（※ゲネプロレポ毎度の如く、まだ観られていない方のために芝居内容について詳しく触れるのは避けますね）。

ゲネプロ直後の会見でまずびっくりしたのが、アダム（役名）の雰囲気を濃厚に漂わせつつ登場した相葉さん。取材陣の間を縫って入ってきた瞬間、普段と表情が違うのに驚きました。会見前に行われた写真撮影の際の笑顔もどことなくぎこちなく、先日のトークショーの折、カメラマンの注文に「あいよっ」とキップ良く答えていた人と同一人物は思えません（笑）。
「この人はまだアダムなんだ！」と気づいたところで相葉さんの第一声「今、終ったばかりでモウロウとしてる部分もあるんですけど・・・」。
なるほど、まだ自分自身に戻ってこれていないんですね。うーん、伏目がちな相葉さんもなかなかステキです。しかし相葉さん、アダムなあまりに、取材陣からの最初の質問が自分に投げかけられているということにしばらく気づいていませんでした（笑）。

言葉少なで口調もいつもよりスローリーな会見出だしの相葉さんでしたが、会見おわりになるとやっと魂が降りて来たのか（笑）、加藤・岩佐コンビに横から“ツーツー”でちょっかいを入れられ、「シーッ！今（自分が）話してるんだから！」「（そうやってふざけてると）会見おわらなくなっちゃうでしょー！」等々、弱々しく反撃する場面も（笑）。
“弱々しく”と書きましたが、加藤さん・岩佐さんの2人は、超強力なタッグを築いているらしく、女子2人がかりで、両脇からあれやこれやと相葉さんをおちょくる様子は見ていて壮観でさえありました（笑）。そんなほほえましい3人を見て、舞台でも、楽屋裏でも、とても良い関係が出来上がっているんだろうな、となんだか安心しました。

ゲネプロ後の会見で、演出の宮田慶子さんもおっしゃっていますが、今回の相葉さんの役は、非常に難しい役。なにせ最小限のセリフで存在感をださねばならないのですから。その難しさは舞台を観ていても十分伝わってきました。そしてそんな難役を全身全霊で演じようとしている相葉さんの熱意も。言葉なき言葉を全身で発しようとする相葉さん、ベテラン勢のどっしりした演技に支えられ、加藤さん、岩佐さんも、自分に与えられた役をとても真剣に生きようとしていました。
正直に言いますと、芝居の内容以上に私の目頭を熱くさせたのは、痛いほどにビシビシ伝わってくる、役者陣の役にかける情熱でした。これから観にいかれる方、ぜひ肉厚のハンカチをお持ち下さい（笑）。

相葉さん、加藤さん、岩佐さん、若い役者陣3人は、この舞台を大きなきっかけにして、さらに多面的な魅力を増していくのだろうな、と感じました。
宮田さんが「（コツコツと積み重ねたものが）バッと花開きますよ！」とおっしゃっていましたが、まさにその通り！大輪の花が舞台には咲いていましたよー。

『忘れられない人』東京公演は11/11（日）まで。東京公演の後は大阪公演（11/16～11/18）が控えています。出演者のみなさん、体調にだけは気をつけて、千秋楽までそのパワーで駆け抜けてください！

余談ですが・・・会場で販売されているパンフレットにはステキな仕掛けがあります。どこに仕掛けがあるかはみなさん、購入してのお楽しみ！！（ちなみに私は、この仕掛けに気づくまでに2日かかりました）
